Your mind needs silence to hear your inner voice.

The number 108 is considered a sacred number in traditions such as Buddhism & Hinduism. Buddhist prayer beads or malas are a traditional tool used to count the number of times a mantra is recited, breaths while meditating, counting prostrations, or the repetitions of a buddha's name.

Still used by many yogis today, malas are used to recite mantras while practicing meditation. Other people wear mala beads today as a symbol and reminder of their own journey, whatever it may be.

Wenge is a naturally dark and dense wood making these beads sturdy and durable, perfect for everyday wear.

Wenge is believed to increase one’s connection to the Earth by stimulating the base Chakra. It grants a sense of awareness, invokes tranquility and awakens divine thoughts within. Wenge also promotes a deeper relaxed state in the wearer, increasing spiritual energy. Finished with a Chinese eternal knot that brings luck.

You can wear it around your neck or wrap it around the wrist to create a beautiful stacked bracelet!

HELP SAVE THE ELEPHANTS

At Ananta Stones we firmly support the cause of Elephant Family. In particular project “Myanmar”. We'll donate 10% to Save The Elephants.

Elephant Family is a small dynamic NGO on a mission to save a forgotten species from extinction. It is estimated that there is more than twice the amount of potential elephant habitat in Myanmar than there is in India and Thailand combined. Large areas urgently need surveying, as potential elephant habitat is at risk of deforestation, especially now that the country is more open to international trade.
