Is there something you’ve been longing for lately?
Maybe you’re dreaming of a new house or car, a more loving and stable relationship, work-life balance, peace of mind…
No matter what your heart’s desires are at this very moment, there is actually a simple way to help achieve them.
Have you ever tried affirmations?
If you haven’t, now is the best time to learn.
What are Affirmations?
Affirmations are simple yet powerful sentences you say, think, or listen to:
Here are some examples:
“I am surrounded by positivity.”
“I am loved by those around me.
“I am driven, disciplined, and successful.”
By repeating these affirming statements, you are declaring it to the universe. And this can profoundly affect your consciousness, actions, and even your surroundings!
Now, this might sound like magic at first, but it is actually based on psychological research and theory.
Here are some of the benefits of practicing daily affirmations:
- Feel more motivated and energetic
- Improves mental discipline
- Avoid stress-related health problems
- Increase positive physical behavior
And because you are unique and have your own special dreams and desires, it’s important that you know how to create your own affirmations.
Creating Your Own Affirmations
In order for affirmations to manifest into your life, it’s important to state them correctly
Here are the three things you must remember when crafting your own affirmations
1.It’s in the NOW.
2. It’s relentlessly positive
The big clue is in the name: POSITIVE.
Any negative words and your brain just won’t process it. Avoid words like “no”, “don’t”, or “never”.
Let’s say you are trying to drive out fear. Instead of saying, “I am not fearful”, you can say “I am free of fear,” or “I am brave, courageous, and strong.”
The Universe responds well to positivity and if you use the right words, the more powerful your affirmations will be.
3. It’s absolute truth
When it comes to affirmations, there’s no “might” or “maybe”. It’s all about “I am”, “I do”, and so on.
These are pure statements. If you want them to be effective, they have to be firm and concise.
If you say, “It is possible for me to achieve my goals”, that’s not quite an absolute truth. Instead, you can say “I am an achiever and I attain all my goals.”
Sounds easy, right?
